With all the bad CGI we see in movies it can seem like there’s nothing that CGI can do that practical can’t do better. Of course there is a lot of good CGI out there and when its seamless! Take this amazing CGI rendering of the intro to the Classic HBO horror series Tales from the Crypt! I have to say that it improves on the original by creating much more realistic weather effects and texturing than what was in the original version which was a combination of Miniatures and puppetry.
