You never know what you might find when you are exploring! A group of Urbex photographers found this amazing abandoned underground funeral home in the woods. What they weren’t prepared for was finding skeletal remains in an open casket! In total there were 8 bodies found in the abandoned funeral home and authorities had to identify and contact the next of kin to arrange proper burial of the remains.

The funeral home was opened back in 1992 by the now deceased Clyde Booth. The facility closed in 2009. Its unclear how long the building was unlocked for explorers to enter and most alarming was that the crypt was very near a playground!
